The museum is opened for visitors every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, except Monday. Visitors should previously arrange their visit to museum.
Profile: literary.
The museum was founded in 1981. It was opened on 15 February 1983. It has been affiliated to National museum of the Republic of Tatarstan (Kazan) since 1981.
Mussa Jalil (Zalilov Mussa) (1906-1944) - Tatar poet, literary and public figure, Chairman of Union of Tatar writers of Tatar Republic (1939-1941).
He was beheaded in 1944 in Berlin for his underground anti-fascist activity in "Idel-Ural" Legion.
The Hero of the USSR, Lenin Prize laureate (posthumous titles).
He was awarded by Literary Prize in 1957 for the cycle of poems "Moabit notebook".
The museum occupies 2 adjacent apartments, one of them is memorial. The whole floor area of museum is ~420.6 sq feet (126,2 sq meters).
